Cupcakes for All

Recently the man and I booked our wedding baker, which was a LONG process.  Being quasi cupcake snobs, we tried more places out for this one than I think any other vendor we booked.  But we are both so happy with the results!  So while the baker is selected, the design of the cupcake presentation is still an unknown.  Anyway, so the theme of the wedding – Cupcake Lovin.  Okay, not really the theme of the wedding, but it’s definitely the theme of dessert.  We are going for a cupcake display that is 100% droolworthy and delicious.  In our search for the ultimate cupcake display, we have come across some pictures that really make me swoon.  Here are some of my favorites (click on the pictures for the source!):

This one is just beautiful!  I love the layers of different cupcakes and how the cake sits on top.  I like how they mixed regular cupcake cups with fancier ones as well.  Definitely a great source of inspiration for me

This one says classy and elegant to me.  It’s really beautiful.  I wish I could tell how tall the stand is or how the full setup looks, but this peek really calls me in.  We actually visited this place while cupcake vendor shopping and realized quickly that they weren’t the place for us.  But I still love the photo.

This one is in our wedding colors (well one of them) and is really simple but classy.  Unfortunately, we are not fondant people…but something similar could be achieved using buttercream I think?

These have to be my favorite.  LOVE the names, the simple frosting (nothing interfering with cupcake to stomach action), cute and definitely different.  This bakery (Once Upon A Cupcake) would have been my #1 choice for a wedding baker..if we lived/got married in California that is.  Every cupcake design on the page was beautiful and all the wedding ones were inspiration.  I mean look at this display of yumminess:

If that doesn’t say cupcake lovin and provide cupcakes for one and for all…I don’t know what would.  I think I have a tall order for my baker to live up to..hope they can make our cupcake dreams come true!
